FEP Customer Support Technician I (Semiconductor)

Location: Yokkaichi, Japan. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Perform Tier I procedures, preventive maintenance, and wet-cleaning activities.
• Assist senior engineers with corrective maintenance when required.
• Disassemble, clean, and rebuild kits as part of kit management quality procedures.
• Learn and apply basic diagnostic techniques using technical documentation and test equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems while following established best known methods and intellectual property guidelines.
• Represent hirify.global professionally at customer sites, maintaining an orderly work area and strong customer service standards.

Requirements

• Basic analytical skills and the ability to follow standard operating procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to communicate information effectively and collaborate with senior engineers and other team members.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving extended walking and standing, tight spaces, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to distinguish colors, tolerate potentially difficult noise levels, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while wearing required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
• Compliance with all safety procedures is required.
