Marketing + Content Creation Intern (Sports Marketing)

Location: Onsite in Richmond, Virginia; at least 20 hours per week

What you will do

• Support marketing campaigns across social media, email, websites, blogs, and other content channels.
• Create and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
• Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and CRM records.
• Prepare marketing and communications materials with senior marketing, sales, and business development staff.
• Create visual materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, including basic video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Support event and conference logistics, registrations, and preparation of event materials.

Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate able to work onsite in the Richmond, Virginia office at least 20 hours per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clearly without relying on AI assistance.
• Experience with content creation, social media management, graphic design, and basic video editing.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Trello or Notion, Microsoft PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, learn quickly, and solve problems resourcefully.

• Interest in sports marketing and awareness of current sports news.
• Major in marketing, advertising, business, or communications.
