Social Media Intern

Location: Santa Monica, CA; hybrid workplace

A growing startup building its brand through youth sports, parenting, and athlete culture content.

What you will do

• Draft captions, schedule posts, and monitor engagement across organic social platforms.
• Source and track trends related to youth sports, parenting, and athlete culture.
• Coordinate user-generated content, organize creator footage, log assets, and prepare clips for review.
• Support content creator onboarding and communication.
• Track organic and paid post performance and prepare simple reports.
• Maintain the content calendar and asset library.

Requirements

• Active, fluent use of TikTok and Instagram with an intuitive understanding of platform-native content.
• Strong writing skills and a good sense of tone and brevity.
• Organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Interest in youth sports, athlete culture, or parenting content.
• Basic video editing experience with tools such as CapCut or Premiere.
