Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: New York City, NY; field territory in the Bronx, NY. The role includes 3 weeks of required hands-on training in Ashburn, VA, followed by 2 weeks at a field training center in NY, TX, or CA.

Salary: $32.05–$50.36 per hour. Licensed candidates may receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and assess damage after accidents.
• Review insurance contracts and prepare vehicle repair estimates.
• Negotiate equitable settlements and resolve customer concerns.
• Manage rental vehicles and coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Support customer satisfaction through clear, empathetic interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Customer-facing or high-volume call-center experience with measurable KPIs is preferred.
• Active adjuster’s license is preferred; training and exam fees are provided.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; employment authorization sponsorship is not available for new applicants.
