Customer Engineer-DDP/MDP/CMP/ETCH (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Dalian, China; Wuxi, China. On-site customer equipment support with approximately 20% travel. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, with support from senior engineers.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, equipment roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Coordinate directly with customers and provide operational support.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all on-site safety and environmental requirements.
