Flex Loan Specialist (VA Loans)

Location: St. Louis, MO, United States

Compensation: Base salary plus commission; top producers earn approximately $76,000 in the first year, $94,000 by the second year, and $112,000 by the third year. Additional bonuses include a $500 sign-on bonus and $1,000 after passing the SAFE exam.

What you will do

• Engage with borrowers, understand their goals, and provide guidance on VA loan benefits.
• Run credit through an online system and identify suitable loan options.
• Explain loan processes, rates, and terms clearly.
• Manage paperwork and keep borrower files on track through closing.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to support successful loan completion.

Requirements

• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Persistence and comfort with repetitive sales and administrative tasks.
• Integrity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.
• NMLS licensing is required; support is available to obtain the license after starting.
• Mortgage experience is helpful but not required; this is an entry-level opportunity.

Culture & Benefits

• Availability is required from 12 PM to 10 PM Monday through Friday and from 8 AM to 10 PM on weekends.
