What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Design and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated handling, assembly, and disassembly processes.
• Perform engineering analysis and define, coordinate, and document engineering tests.
• Technically lead or execute projects, develop key suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Review engineering documentation and communicate complex information while building consensus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 4–7 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the hirify.global product life cycle, including prototyping, packaging, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
