Loan Officer - Puyallup, WA

Location: Puyallup, WA, United States

Base pay: $13.00–$20.00 per hour; estimated annual gross income potential: $90,000.00–$225,000.00, including commissions, deductions, and bonuses.

What you will do

• Work with borrowers to understand homebuying needs and provide a smooth loan experience.
• Communicate loan status, respond to inquiries, and educate borrowers about loan processes and alternatives.
• Analyze borrower information to assess pre-approval and loan feasibility.
• Interview borrowers and obtain or verify financial information and documentation.
• Coordinate internal efforts, resolve application issues, and support timely processing.
• Manage social media presence and analyze numbers to improve efficiency and achieve company goals.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
• Experience in outside sales, lead generation, cold calling, customer-facing sales, or business development.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, conflict resolution, and analytical decision-making skills.
• NMLS license or ability to become licensed upon employment.
• Experience self-sourcing leads and familiarity with Encompass loan origination software.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with regular and predictable attendance.
