Network Security Associate | New Grad (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role with a remote work component, based in the Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania office

What you will do

• Monitor and manage network-based cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, network access control lists, and web proxies.
• Investigate and troubleshoot security issues and requests across the environment.
• Support connectivity with other sites, third parties, and exchanges.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical sponsors to implement and support new security solutions.
• Develop scripting and automation capabilities for environment management and monitoring.
• Work with security practitioners across the global organization and contribute to risk remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Networking and Systems Administration, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of networking, network security concepts, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting and automation tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain security concepts to audiences with different technical backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Client or endpoint security experience.
• Cloud security experience.
