Customer Engineer II Senior (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite customer equipment support required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot customer equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Use diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and resolve technical issues with support from senior field service engineers.
• Collaborate with customers and senior engineers to understand roadmaps, process flows, requirements, and business challenges.
• Coordinate directly with customers and communicate technical information.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
