Senior Specialist, Industrial Security (CSSO) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified and sensitive materials, documents, and equipment.
• Implement NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, and other federal security regulations.
• Coordinate physical security, personnel security, COMSEC, and technical security controls with government program security officers and ISSO colleagues.
• Prepare security manuals and procedures for handling, storing, retaining, and accessing restricted materials.
• Conduct security education, training, audits, and investigations of security violations.
• Manage incoming and outgoing classified materials, destruction activities, and accountable items.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, graduate degree with at least 4 years, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• At least 7 years of experience applying 32 CFR Part 117, RMF, applicable ICDs, and DoDM 5205.07.
• Experience with information security, program protection, personnel security, collateral clearances, and SCI clearances.
• Experience with DoD and Intelligence Community security processes, security databases such as TALON, intrusion detection, and access control systems.
• Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens; eligibility for access to classified information is required.

• Knowledge of Intelligence Community resources, practices, and changing requirements.
• Experience designing and conducting security education and training programs.
• Knowledge of physical security methods suited to heightened-risk environments.
• Initiative in addressing security compliance challenges and identifying innovative solutions.
