What you will do

• Own and maintain the financial model used by leadership and the board, ensuring accuracy and defensibility of assumptions.
• Manage the month-end close process including accruals and reconciliations to deliver timely and trusted financials.
• Oversee billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue integrity to ensure timely cash flow.
• Drive financial planning, capital strategy, and scenario analysis to support business decisions and fundraising.
• Analyze ROI, unit economics, pricing, and cohort economics to support business growth.
• Build and automate finance systems, controls, and processes to scale the finance function.

Requirements

• 4–8 years experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or founding finance role at a high-growth startup.
• Top-tier education or experience at leading SaaS or AI companies; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Strong financial modeling skills and hands-on ownership of close and reporting processes.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with accounting and billing systems; bonus for SQL, Python, or AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT.
• Ability to work 50+ hour weeks with a bias toward action and ownership.
• Must be located on-site in New York City.
