Founding Finance Lead

Location: New York City, United States; full-time, on-site

Base salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year plus substantial equity

hirify.global builds AI-powered software for home services, construction, and remodeling operators, providing an end-to-end system for automating and scaling revenue.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the company’s financial model, forecast, assumptions, and board reporting.
• Own the month-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
• Manage billing, collections, accounts receivable, and revenue integrity across the order-to-cash cycle.
• Lead burn, runway, scenario planning, dashboards, and capital strategy initiatives.
• Analyze pricing, gross margin, CAC payback, cohort economics, and ROI for major investments and product decisions.
• Build finance systems, controls, tooling, processes, and playbooks while hiring and scaling the function.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a founding finance role at a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on ownership of financial modeling, closing, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to present assumptions and results to a board.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and familiarity with accounting and billing systems.
• Experience with SQL or Python is a plus, as is using AI tools to retrieve and analyze data independently.
• Must work on-site in New York City.
