Senior Staff Engineer - Flutter

Location: Bethesda, Maryland, United States. hirify.global Flex allows working from anywhere in the US for up to four weeks per year.

Annual salary: $120,000–$260,000.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering areas and teams.
• Own complete solutions throughout their life cycle, including architecture, development, deployment, and operations.
• Partner with product managers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to solve complex problems in enterprise applications.
• Lead design sessions and code reviews while ensuring solution quality, usability, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Mentor engineers and share engineering best practices across teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with mobile and web frameworks or SDKs.
• Production experience building applications with Flutter and Dart.
• Expertise in at least two of Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Dart.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, dependency injection, state management, reactive programming, architecture, design patterns, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, REST APIs, application monitoring, and performance assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or experience.
