Mobile Engineer (iOS/React Native)

Location: In-person in San Francisco, United States. Relocation to the United States is supported for the right candidates, and visa sponsorship is available.

What you will do

• Design and build iOS and React Native experiences for health results, biomarker data, chat, and core member journeys.
• Shape mobile architecture, reusable components, and the integration between Swift and React Native.
• Build native integrations for HealthKit, authentication, notifications, media access, and other device capabilities.
• Improve performance, navigation, accessibility, and reliability across devices and network conditions.
• Own testing, observability, release tooling, and App Store delivery while handling sensitive health information carefully.
• Collaborate with product, design, clinical, web, and backend engineers on shared data contracts and cross-platform development patterns.

Requirements

• Strong record of shipping and maintaining consumer iOS applications with clear ownership of product impact.
• Deep hands-on experience with Swift, including native architecture, concurrency, memory management, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Deep experience with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript, including architecture, state management, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Apple frameworks, and native modules connecting Swift with React Native.
• Strong understanding of app architecture, networking, testing, and App Store release processes.
• Must work in person in San Francisco; visa sponsorship and United States relocation support are available for eligible candidates.
