Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (React Native)

Location: Hybrid; report to Austin, Texas or Warren, Michigan at least three times per week

What you will do

• Develop mobile applications using React Native across the full application lifecycle.
• Build APIs supporting mobile functionality and translate product concepts into functional, visually appealing applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and software engineers.
• Write unit and UI tests and maintain software quality and automated testing practices.
• Improve performance and usability while identifying and remediating code quality, security, and configuration issues.
• Document solutions, maintain compliance with GM standards, and provide leadership within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience and 5+ years of mobile development experience.
• Experience delivering software projects, including deployments, and maintaining and debugging live applications.
• Knowledge of software testing, quality assurance, and automated solutions testing.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
• Must be able to work from the Austin, Texas or Warren, Michigan location on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of React Native experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
