Director, Marketing Communications

Location: New York City, NY; workplace flexibility includes the ability to work from anywhere in the US for up to four weeks per year.

Annual salary: $140,425–$229,600.

What you will do

• Build and execute a proactive marketing communications strategy across trade, business, consumer, and internal media.
• Secure coverage for hirify.global’s marketing evolution, campaigns, partnerships, and creative work.
• Partner with Marketing leadership to identify storytelling opportunities and advise on media visibility and thought leadership.
• Develop executive and internal communications, including talking points, town halls, and organizational messaging.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools, platforms, and agents to scale media intelligence, outreach, content development, and measurement.
• Manage a small team and coordinate communications, creative, media, and digital agency partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of communications experience focused on marketing communications, brand PR, and consumer communications.
• Experience working in both agency and in-house environments and managing communications agency partners.
• Experience building new capabilities in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Established relationships with reporters and editors at major marketing and advertising trade publications.
• Proven ability to secure top-tier media placements and develop sustained narrative campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, project management, collaboration, and executive communications skills.
