Product Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite work at a US factory. Travel to Europe is required for training.

Base pay: $117,800–$200,300 annually.

What you will do

• Complete final verification of systems at the US factory, ensuring performance meets specifications and shipments follow the production schedule.
• Debug production issues, establish root causes, and develop plans of action.
• Guide manufacturing teams in executing corrective actions and standardize solutions to improve designs and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Europe on escalation cases and provide final sign-off for tool shipments.
• Optimize bills of materials, procedures, and tool configurations to improve cost, availability, and scalability.

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or a master’s degree with 3 years of related work experience.
• Strong engineering or physical sciences background with demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical understanding and communication skills for effective collaboration with engineering teams.
• Able to travel to Europe for training.
