GSOC Supervisor (Morning & Overnight Shift) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Bethesda, Maryland, United States; fully onsite at headquarters. Morning and swing shifts, with on-call, weekend, and extended-hours coverage required during crises.

Annual salary: $100,450–$157,850.

What you will do

• Supervise GSOC operators and lead daily security operations across morning and swing shifts.
• Coordinate triage, escalation, communications, and resolution of physical security and life-safety incidents.
• Assume the Incident Commander role during crisis-level events and support site and enterprise crisis management teams.
• Monitor threats and security systems, including access control, surveillance, alarms, and incident management platforms.
• Manage contractor performance, staffing, user access, operational resources, and KPI reporting.
• Develop procedures, training, onboarding, drills, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement plans.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information security, information technology, security management, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience managing and leading contracted or full-time teams; experience in a SOC or similar security operations environment is required.
• Experience with real-time monitoring, incident management, crisis response, threat intelligence, OSINT, and physical security operations.
• Proficiency with access control, video surveillance, incident management, event monitoring, geo-risk, and mass communication platforms.
• Strong analytical writing, briefing, communication, critical-thinking, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Must work onsite in Bethesda and be available for non-traditional hours, nights, weekends, on-call coverage, and extended crisis response periods. New employment authorization sponsorship is not available.
