Technical Manager-Full Stack (FinTech)

Location: Based in Plano, Texas, United States. Candidates must have the right to work in the United States and must not require current or future immigration support or visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
• Build responsive frontend experiences with React and React Native, including Progressive Web Apps.
• Architect modular micro frontend systems and implement complex enterprise architectures.
• Partner with architects, stakeholders, engineering, and product teams in an Agile environment.
• Own critical full-stack components, ensuring performance, reliability, maintainability, testing, and code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve engineering standards through technical leadership and code reviews.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Backend expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Node, REST APIs, real-time streaming, and microservices.
• Strong React and React Native experience, including micro frontends and PWAs.
• Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Knowledge of DDD, event-driven architecture, relational and NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across architecture, engineering, and product teams.

Nice to have

• FinTech or other highly regulated enterprise-scale experience.
• Experience with LLM workflows or integrating ML models into production.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other scalable messaging and streaming technologies.
