Senior Fullstack Engineer (Ingeniero Fullstack Senior) - Hybrid (Fintech)

Location: Aguascalientes, Mexico; hybrid work model with regular office presence expected, especially during ramp-up or when required by the leader

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend integrations with payment processors, ERP platforms, banks, and financial infrastructure providers.
• Architect scalable, secure, and observable services for sensitive financial data.
• Build internal tooling, integration dashboards, configuration interfaces, and other client-facing frontend experiences.
• Use AI tools across design, coding, code review, debugging, documentation, and workflow automation.
• Set technical standards through code reviews, architectural contributions, and mentorship of junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Operations while addressing technical debt and operational risk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience, including 1–2 years working across the full stack.
• Strong software architecture and system design skills, including experience building scalable and failure-tolerant systems.
• Strong proficiency in a backend language; the primary stack is Java and Spring Boot.
• Frontend experience with a language or framework; the frontend stack is React.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools throughout the development process, including tools such as Claude, Devin, or n8n.
• Working proficiency in English and availability for the hybrid setup in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Metabase, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with SQL or Python for backend or data use cases.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking integrations, or credit infrastructure.
