Mechanical Engineer II (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Perform engineering analysis and troubleshoot moderately complex mechanical problems.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Design and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment, identifying sources for critical parts and subsystems.
• Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
• Prepare engineering test reports and alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with engineering analysis and mechanical problem-solving.
• Experience with mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, or specifications.
• Ability to work in Santa Clara, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with UG NX, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, or Design for Excellence principles.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
