Salary: $84,000–$119,000 per year, plus equity, discretionary performance bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design structures, mechanisms, environmental systems, ground support equipment, and multiple product lines for satellite ground stations.
• Develop manufacturable RF waveguide filtering and feed structures for high-performance antennas.
• Design fabrication and assembly tooling, test fixtures, weldments, and related hardware.
• Collaborate with RF, electrical, manufacturing, and software engineers on system requirements and hardware integration.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical, thermal, environmental, and industry design standards.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on design objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience designing and building hardware.
• Experience taking products from concept through production.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, thermal management, materials selection, and structural analysis.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Siemens NX for 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Experience with environmental and reliability testing, weldments, tooling, GSE, fixtures, and assembly.
• Experience with mechanical and thermal simulation tools such as ANSYS.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, RF systems, and devices.
