Software Application Engineer (Computational Lithography)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid role with onsite customer support and occasional international travel

Salary: $138,800–$190,850 base annual salary

What you will do

• Provide onsite support for Tachyon Process Window Enhancement and Process Window Control software at a major customer site.
• Debug product recipes for advanced-node semiconductor applications and characterize reported issues.
• Manage customer engagements, review meetings, open cases and weekly status reporting.
• Coordinate technical responses between customers, Product Engineering and R&D teams.
• Define technical specifications and timelines, draft Statements of Work, and monitor project deliveries.
• Lead short-term, multi-month projects with small teams, coach team members and coordinate communication with customers.

Requirements

• SC, master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics Sciences or Physical Sciences.
• 4–6 years of experience with computational lithography and OPC software tools.
• Previous experience working directly with customers and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Engineering, R&D and customer teams.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States export regulations before starting work.
