Personal Injury Claims Examiner

Location: Melville, New York. Complete in-office training, followed by a hybrid schedule of 80% on-site and 20% off-site. Availability required Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. hirify.global will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

Salary: $29.00–$45.28 per hour.

What you will do

• Investigate medical necessity and determine casualty for personal injury auto insurance claims.
• Evaluate claim validity and monitor case files throughout the treatment process.
• Consult with customers, other carriers, attorneys, and medical providers.
• Secure medical information and review insurance contracts, reports, and billing documentation.
• Resolve customer concerns and support a positive claims experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills.
• Ability to adapt, maintain attention to detail, prioritize, and multitask across platforms.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Active adjuster license is preferred; training and examination fees are provided.
• Customer-facing claims experience and high-volume call-center experience with KPIs are preferred.
