Autonomous Vehicle System Integrator (Automotive)

Location: On-site in Jerusalem, Israel; international travel several times a year is required.

What you will do

• Lead and execute hardware-software integration, system bring-up, configuration, and validation for complex autonomous systems.
• Integrate cameras, radars, LiDARs, computing platforms, communication networks, and other system components.
• Perform physical vehicle installations, including wiring, soldering, cable crimping, mechanical assembly, and AC/DC power system installation.
• Investigate complex software, hardware, mechanical, networking, and operating-system issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain vehicle systems and provide technical support to R&D teams during experiments.
• Develop, maintain, and use scripts and tools for integration, testing, and debugging.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system engineering processes, complex electronic or embedded-system integration, and system bring-up.
• Strong hands-on experience with tools, mechanical assemblies, wiring, soldering, and AC/DC power-system installation.
• Good understanding of networking and communication protocols, such as TCP/IP.
• Experience with lab and testing equipment, including OBD2, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and sniffers.
• Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot complex integrated systems using a structured and systematic approach.
• High-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Availability for international travel several times a year and on-site work.

Nice to have

• Automotive industry experience.
• Knowledge and practical experience in Linux environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with automotive communication protocols, including CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, and FlexRay.
• Experience developing automation tools or scripts, such as Python.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and analysis tools, such as Vector.
• Prior experience with ADAS and autonomous driving systems.
