Epitaxy Module Process Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership during pre-sales engagements and develop competitive customer proposals with Sales, Hardware, and Process Development teams.
• Analyze equipment and process performance against customer specifications, including critical dimensions, profiles, defects, yield, process capability, matching, output, and cost of ownership.
• Define customer high-value problems and translate technical challenges into strategies aligned with manufacturing goals.
• Resolve complex cross-disciplinary tool and process issues and lead continuous improvement projects across customers and platforms.
• Drive adoption of new service technologies through evaluations, demonstrations, technical presentations, and quantified value propositions.
• Influence cross-functional teams, guide technical direction, mentor engineers, and establish documentation and knowledge-sharing best practices.

Requirements

• System-level integration knowledge across semiconductor process modules.
• Deep expert-level knowledge in one or more thin film process areas, including CVD, ALD, PVD, or epitaxy.
• Experience using advanced analytics and structured problem-solving methods to improve yield, variability, cost of ownership, and productivity.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, high-impact customer environments and influence both technical and leadership stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
