Manager, AI Platform Engineering

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; hybrid schedule with managers and teams deciding which 10+ days per month they work in the office.

What you will do

• Own the AI platform roadmap and end-to-end delivery for GSmart.
• Build and evolve the platform powering smart features across enterprise treasury products.
• Ensure AI platform systems are measurable, dependable, and production-ready.
• Partner with product and solution teams to turn customer challenges into technical solutions.
• Enable engineering teams to build on the platform and own their deliverables.
• Hire, mentor, and grow the AI platform engineering team while contributing to architecture and full-stack production code.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including full-stack development and AI/ML platform infrastructure.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Strong front-end, back-end, and API development skills.
• Solid cloud infrastructure experience and experience operating AI systems in production.
• Deep, current knowledge of AI and modern LLM/GenAI infrastructure.
• Ability to work in the Chicago office 10+ days per month as determined with the manager and team.
