Vice President-Software Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable cloud-native business systems and modern applications on AWS.
• Lead greenfield development for the OneGS transformation initiative, from deterministic automation to agentic workflows.
• Manage, mentor, and grow software and AI engineering teams while promoting technical excellence.
• Run AI-driven, specification-driven software development lifecycles to solve complex financial and technical problems.
• Build financial metric calculation models and supporting infrastructure for business strategy and decision-making.
• Coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders across Engineering, Risk, Finance, and other global divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• 8–12 years of hands-on software development experience, including lead developer responsibilities.
• Experience architecting cloud solutions using AWS, GCP, or Azure and building new applications from scratch.
• Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise workflows and using AI coding tools such as Copilot or Claude Code.
• Strong development experience in Java or Python, with traditional and/or modern data stores such as Snowflake, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Experience with full-stack technical design, engineering team management, performance reviews, career development, and organizational change.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in finance, banking, or FinTech.
• Familiarity with financial data and regulatory environments.
