What you will do

• Grade finished products across assigned production lines and complete quality checks, typically two checks per hour.
• Communicate out-of-grade situations to the Team Leader and perform product dispositions.
• Perform critical control point checks for lines one and two and rotate through lab technician positions.
• Review and file quality assurance data, complete special projects, and maintain accurate records.
• Train backup employees and new lab technicians.
• Follow plant safety, housekeeping, GMP, sanitation, hygiene, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• Sanitation qualification is required; training will be provided if needed.
• Ability to accurately use laboratory and production testing equipment, including scales, pipettes, grinders, fryers, thermometers, Agtron, Minolta, NIR, and related tools.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry, report generation, and research.
• Basic arithmetic skills with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, stay organized, and plan work.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and follow instructions in English.
