What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware build infrastructure, including toolchains and artifact generation.
• Drive adoption of industry-standard build automation and configuration management practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to major programs and software engineering teams.
• Mentor junior developers and guide strategic design and architecture decisions.
• Create and review software requirements specifications and design documentation.
• Influence software test strategies and support validation and verification activities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with C programming for embedded devices and RTOS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, bash, go) for automation and tooling.
• Substantial experience with build systems (GCC, CMake, Kconfig, Nix) for multi-target platforms.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device software or related industries.
• Skill in utilizing modern AI tools in software development.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
