Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: Field-based in the Lombard, Illinois territory; this is not a remote role. Required training includes three weeks at the Ashburn, Virginia facility and two weeks at a field training center in New York, Texas, or California.

Salary: $30.53–$47.31 per hour, with the final rate depending on experience, education, training, location, and business considerations.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and assess accident-related damage.
• Review insurance contracts and write vehicle repair estimates.
• Negotiate equitable settlements and manage rental cars.
• Consult with customers and other involved parties to resolve claims.
• Partner with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Resolve customer concerns and support a positive claims experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, adaptability, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask across multiple platforms.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous customer-facing or high-volume call-center experience with KPIs is preferred; an active adjuster license is preferred.
