Application Development Architect (Java/AI)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture of robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Design and integrate agentic software architectures with APIs, state management, memory systems, observability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, architectural blueprints, implementation strategies, and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate GCP services, cloud-native technologies, serverless platforms, service mesh solutions, and other architectural components.
• Define integration strategies for APIs, microservices, third-party platforms, and legacy applications.
• Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, manage technical risks, and collaborate with clients, product managers, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 3–5 years in an Application Architect or similar senior leadership role.
• Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot, plus at least one additional modern language such as Python, .NET, Node, Go, or C#.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, serverless, N-tier applications, data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, REST APIs, API gateways, and secure development.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Terraform and Helm, automation, frontend frameworks including React, and ideally Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; readiness to work in shifts and independently or collaboratively.
