Senior Manager, Specialty Finance

Location: Hybrid; on-site 3 days per week in Bethesda, MD or Chicago, IL, United States

Annual salary: $130,175–$212,175

What you will do

• Lead financial analysis and decision support for the Specialty Finance organization.
• Analyze revenue trends, sales, retention, average premium, loss costs, severity, frequency, and operating expenses.
• Partner with Commercial Product leadership to evaluate performance drivers, profitability, and growth trade-offs.
• Develop retention elasticity insights, pure premium trend analyses, forecasts, sensitivity analyses, and scenario tests.
• Design and operationalize analytical tools, models, standardized metrics, and decision frameworks.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while improving analytical quality and business partnership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, and the insurance industry, including financial forecasting, data modeling, or data science.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and VBA.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and business stakeholder partnership skills.
• Ability to work on-site 3 days per week at the Bethesda or Chicago office.
