Global Installation Engineer-Semi-ETCH-New Graduate (Semiconductor)

Location: Chengdu, Shanghai, or Wuxi, China; on-site customer work with travel 75% of the time

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment alongside Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate directly with customers and coordinate service activities.
• Follow on-site safety, environmental, cleanroom, and equipment-handling requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Willingness to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of customer or field service support experience.
• Associate degree in electronics or engineering technologies.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters.
