SMTS Field Application Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Drive technology demonstrations, design-win acquisition, and customer evaluation of hirify.global solutions.
• Act as the single technical interface for China customers and coordinate technical sales interactions, presentations, and proposals.
• Translate customer requirements into design solutions, identify portfolio gaps, and coordinate internal teams to resolve technical obstacles.
• Lead customer design reviews, mock tapeouts, MPW and test-chip planning, and tapeout logistics.
• Align mature- and advanced-node tapeout readiness, including export control forms, IP declarations, and frame tables.
• Support post-tapeout customer engineering activities, silicon functionality verification, performance analysis, and design-margin reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
• Experience with semiconductor technology or design, including IC product design and IP.
• Understanding of silicon processing, device physics, design enablement flows, and related tools.
• Strong analytical, technical, presentation, project management, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• End-to-end experience from concept through silicon validation.
• Previous experience in or exposure to a semiconductor foundry.
• Strong sales aptitude and experience working with competitive technology landscapes.
