Senior Manager (FP&A)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with an in-office requirement three days per week

Base salary: $115,200–$230,000 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives

What you will do

• Prepare consolidated reports, presentations, and communications for management and executive decision support.
• Build financial models, driver-based sensitivities, and scenario analyses to support investment and strategic decisions.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and planning outlooks, highlighting variances, risks, opportunities, and potential outcomes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the global Guy Carpenter business.
• Partner with management, business leaders, and regional finance teams to communicate financial results and business insights.
• Analyze revenue drivers, growth trends, and ad-hoc business questions while promoting efficient and collaborative ways of working.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
• At least five years of professional experience supporting a line of business.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with general ledger and query systems; Oracle Financials and SmartView are preferred.
• Experience with financial statements and charts of accounts.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical ability, communication skills, stakeholder management, judgement, and attention to detail.
