Fullstack Software Engineer (TypeScript)

Location: Somerville, Massachusetts; hybrid work environment with in-office attendance 3+ days per week

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Write and maintain clean, efficient, high-quality software aligned with project specifications.
• Develop and maintain features across the platform’s broad technology stack.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and improve software architecture.
• Execute unit and integration testing, debug systems, and support seamless deployments.
• Propose and implement strategic software improvements.
• Document technical decisions and systems for internal reference and reporting.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Postgres.
• Familiarity with API design and RESTful service integration.
• Understanding of database design principles and optimization.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Engineering, Product Design, Product Management, and TechOps.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Redux, Redis, Node, Golang, Electron, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and automated deployment strategies.
• Experience with ClickHouse, Kafka, Kubernetes, Grafana LGTM, or LLM-assisted coding workflows.
