Full-Stack Software Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Schedule aligned with Cincinnati, Ohio, Eastern Time; Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid break.

hirify.global connects software professionals with client projects, including work on collaborative multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack features throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Build responsive user interfaces with React, TypeScript, React hooks, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop Node.js and Express backend services, REST APIs, middleware, and request validation.
• Manage PostgreSQL migrations, write SQL queries, and optimize database performance.
• Contribute to scalable software architecture, design discussions, peer reviews, and collaborative development.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain complex multi-tenant and scheduling platform components.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience in production environments.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with Node.js, Express, or a comparable server framework.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge, including joins, indexes, transactions, and query optimization.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, middleware, and request validation.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, clean commit history, and collaborative workflows; ability to own features from design through deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with shadcn/ui and PostgreSQL Row-Level Security.
• Mobile development experience, including Capacitor or related mobile technologies.
• Knowledge of AI development.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, legacy-system data migrations, cloud deployments, and S3-compatible object storage.
