Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript/React/Node)

Location: Remote-first; hybrid for candidates based in San Francisco. Occasional travel to San Francisco may be required for cross-functional events or team offsites.

Salary: $115,000–$195,000 USD annually, depending on geographic tier, skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable features across the React Native mobile app and backend services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, analysts, and engineers to deliver technical solutions for business problems.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentoring of early-career engineers.
• Write unit tests with Jest and end-to-end tests with Cypress, owning the testing lifecycle for features.
• Investigate production issues, improve observability, and contribute to platform reliability.
• Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployments, CI/CD workflows, and system performance.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with mobile development, such as React Native or another mobile framework.
• Experience with Node, Express, React, AWS, and relational databases.
• Ability to write complex and efficient SQL queries.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a growing team or early-stage startup.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
