Technology Risk Audit Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area; candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the area. Office attendance is expected 1–2 days per week.

Salary: $180,000–$202,500 US base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead IT SOX/ITGC strategy and continuous improvement across financial-reporting systems.
• Extend risk and controls assurance into privacy, security, and trust & safety domains.
• Partner with Engineering on access controls, segregation of duties, change management, and CI/CD integrity.
• Guide control design during system implementations, migrations, and platform changes.
• Manage technical audit teams and projects, including internal teammates and external contractors.
• Apply AI and automation to audit testing, anomaly detection, control monitoring, remediation tracking, and leadership reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in IT audit, risk management, or controls across SOX/ITGC and consumer trust domains.
• Strong knowledge of access management, change management, computer operations, SDLC controls, SOX/ICFR, and independent risk assessment.
• Fluency with COSO, COBIT, and NIST CSF frameworks.
• Experience coordinating external audits or co-sourced engagements and driving remediation plans to closure.
• Hands-on experience with AI or automation tools and the ability to communicate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Consumer-facing platform technology risk, subscription, ad tech, or homegrown systems experience.
• AI governance, third-party risk, data privacy, or DevSecOps/CI/CD controls experience.
• CISA, CISSP, or CPA certification.
