Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Senior Analyst (Crypto Payments)

Location: United States — Remote; San Francisco, CA. Employees based in the San Francisco and New York hubs are expected to work from the office at least 40% of the time, approximately two days per week.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD per year, excluding commission, equity, and benefits. Compensation may be adjusted based on geographic location.

What you will do

• Own and strengthen the controls environment, ensuring compliance requirements are implemented and maintained.
• Support and mature the GRC program, including SOC 2 operations and alignment with NIST and other security frameworks.
• Build and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs, including business impact assessments, continuity plans, and recovery runbooks.
• Conduct vendor and third-party risk assessments across the partner network.
• Support MiCA licensing and U.S. Money Transmitter License applications through due diligence, regulatory responses, and compliance reporting.
• Manage security issues, drive remediation, and standardize policies and compliance processes across jurisdictions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on GRC experience in an operating environment.
• Experience building and managing compliance programs rather than only auditing them.
• Deep familiarity with one or more frameworks or regulations, such as SOC 2, NIST, PCI, MiCA, NYDFS, or CCPA.
• Experience building or maturing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs and using business impact assessments to inform recovery strategies.
• Experience across risk assessments, control testing, issue management, and remediation.
• For the remote role, candidates must be based in the United States; employees in San Francisco or New York hubs must meet the in-office expectation.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, crypto, payments, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with GRC platforms such as Vanta, Drata, or Archer.
• Regular use of AI tools for policy development, process monitoring, or program management.
