IT Audit Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with in-person attendance several days each week in Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

Annual base salary: $101,000–$155,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and expand the audit program across multiple frameworks and certifications.
• Develop audit methodologies, processes, templates, and program standards.
• Lead and coach a globally distributed team of auditors throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Track and report audit KPIs, budgets, deficiencies, quality, accuracy, and program maturity.
• Review audit reports, coordinate with external auditors and assessors, and ensure remediation plans are established.
• Advise senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on control weaknesses, audit findings, risk mitigation, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience leading audit or compliance functions in a similar role.
• Experience with project management, delegation, milestone tracking, budgets, and regulated program deliverables.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 27000 series and SOC 2 Type II, with knowledge of NIST SP 800 series, FISMA, and ISO 27001.
• Experience driving remediation of internal and external control deficiencies, with strong audit metrics and KPI expertise.
• Technical aptitude in cloud infrastructure and SaaS technologies, plus experience managing distributed global teams across time zones and geographies.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or another relevant certification.
• Exposure to UK CE, TISAX, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, IRAP, ISMAP, MTCS, NIS2, EU CRA, PCI-DSS, DORA, ENS, EU AI Act, and GDPR.
