AI Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate AI systems in customer-facing production environments.
• Translate ambiguous customer and business problems into prototypes and technical specifications.
• Evaluate AI capabilities and apply them to workflows where they create clear leverage.
• Own product discovery, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and long-term system maintainability.
• Make system design and scaling decisions while building legible codebases and improving development tooling.
• Partner with product managers to develop AI-native product solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering or applied AI.
• Strong applied AI and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience using AI development tools in full-stack applications and designing AI-based solutions for real workflows.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and frontier AI platforms.
• Ability to work with high autonomy, ownership, product judgment, and customer feedback.
• Productive technologies include Python, C#, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, Terraform, AWS, and frontier model ecosystems.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience operating AI systems in production, including evaluation, cost, and performance tradeoffs.
• Experience in early-stage startups, forward-deployed engineering, or internal product teams.
• Experience with large-scale Python, C#, and TypeScript codebases.
• Experience integrating AI into established products or working with healthcare, regulated, or sensitive data.
