Customer Engineer IV - EPIC Center, Santa Clara (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Work with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, requirements, roadmaps, and business challenges.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support equipment operation and service delivery.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, military technical training, or at least 4–7 years of field service experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
• Ability to meet all on-site, safety, environmental, and clean-room requirements.
