Senior Finance Data Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid role with a 3-day in-office requirement

Annual salary: $86,100–$133,250

What you will do

• Design complex financial data models, analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Partner with Finance, Business Operations, Product, and Technology stakeholders on transformation initiatives.
• Establish best practices for reporting, validation, documentation, and data governance.
• Identify data gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve financial data quality and insight generation.
• Streamline and automate manual processes and legacy reporting to improve efficiency, integrity, and scalability.
• Mentor Analyst I and II team members and advise Finance leadership on data and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience working with financial data and systems in an analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or comparable data-querying and analysis tools.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial data structures.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
