Location: Hospital Site and Diamond Health Care Centre at Vancouver General Hospital, Vancouver, BC, Canada
Salary: $29.82–$35.16 CAD per hour

What you will do
- Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, scheduling, study communications, and informed consent for a clinical sexual health research study.
- Manage data collection, storage, research records, photos, publications, and study documentation.
- Prepare research ethics amendments and support the preparation and submission of abstracts, manuscripts, and poster presentations.
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized study equipment, including a virtual reality system.
- Train lab members and volunteers on equipment use and oversee one or two employees or volunteers when required.
- Provide administrative support to the Principal Investigator, including financial paperwork, onboarding, meeting coordination, documentation, CV updates, and personnel tracking.
Requirements
- Completion of a relevant technical program or university degree, plus at least three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous research experience, with the ability to work independently under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, judgment, discretion, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to handle confidential participant information with sensitivity, respect, and adherence to ethical research requirements.
- Ability to use word-processing, database, internet, and other computer applications.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and respect for diverse perspectives.
Nice to have
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in women’s health, communication, knowledge mobilization, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of qualitative research methodology and design.
- Interest or experience in knowledge mobilization for health research.
