Corporate Accountant (Financial Services)

Location: Remote work from South Carolina, United States

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Apply GAAP and ASC 606 principles to review and set up customer contracts in Oracle.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and contribute to financial close cycles.
• Update manual subledgers and perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Research monthly fluctuations in financial reports and compile and analyze revenue information for management.
• Share accounting knowledge, recommend process improvements and support automation initiatives.
• Manage competing priorities and assist with special projects assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Understanding of accounting principles, including ASC 606.
• Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must work from South Carolina for this work-from-home role.
