Critical Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center)

Location: On-site in Centennial, Colorado, United States. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.

Salary: $77,935.92–$116,903.88 per year.

What you will do

• Support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical infrastructure systems in hirify.global facilities.
• Monitor and maintain electrical power distribution, UPS equipment, generators, HVAC, fire life safety, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Perform site audits, equipment modeling, capacity management, floor plan updates, and equipment inventory activities.
• Conduct infrastructure health checks, monitor device onboarding and performance indicators, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors on maintenance and network infrastructure projects while tracking milestones.
• Maintain floor plans, asset databases, capacity reports, technical records, and preventive maintenance documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in critical infrastructure, facility operations, data center environments, building systems, industrial maintenance, or related facilities.
• Working knowledge of one or more critical infrastructure disciplines, including electrical systems, power distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, fire life safety, plumbing, or mechanical equipment.
• Experience using diagnostic and maintenance tools and following operating procedures, maintenance schedules, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Experience documenting operational activities and maintaining technical records, reports, procedures, or infrastructure documentation.
• Ability to work safely in operational facilities and coordinate activities with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
