Infrastructure & Capital Projects – MEP Project Engineer – Data Centers, ANS

Location: Sandersville, GA / Atlanta, GA; onsite at client sites

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Support MEP system delivery for data center projects from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems with consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs for compliance and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor installations, schedules, risks, quality requirements, and critical systems including switchgear, UPS, generators, HVAC, BMS, SCADA, and EPMS.
• Participate in site inspections, troubleshooting, testing, startup, commissioning, and integrated systems testing.
• Maintain QA/QC and commissioning documentation, issue logs, punch lists, as-built records, and turnover packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of MEP engineering or construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, and controls.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Knowledge of applicable MEP codes, quality requirements, and safety standards.

Nice to have

• Data center or other mission-critical project experience.
• Knowledge of switchgear, UPS, generators, BMS, SCADA, EPMS, and system performance optimization.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, ISO, IEC, NEC, and NFPA standards.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar MEP design and coordination tools.
