Operations Leader - Specialty Finance

Location: Must reside within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza in Columbus, Ohio; hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Salary: $138,000–$206,000 expected starting annual range.

What you will do

• Lead operational processes from premium collection through claims for Specialty Finance products.
• Design workflows, optimize processes, and oversee product- and asset-class-specific reporting.
• Monitor service levels, execution quality, data accuracy, and operational controls.
• Manage and develop a team of operations support staff and investment professionals through staffing, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with Technology, Treasury, Investments, Controllership, custodians, external managers, data vendors, and other partners.
• Lead risk mitigation, audit and regulatory activities, and strategic initiatives that improve operational resilience and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, P&C operations, or related financial services environments.
• Deep understanding of investment products, insurance operational processes, workflows, and industry best practices.
• Experience translating business needs into scalable future-state operating models.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, risk management, and operational efficiency skills.
• Employer-sponsored work authorization is not available, and the role does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.
